Estonian Aviation Academy students visited Threod Systems as a part of their educational program. 26 students from Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) and Technical Aircraft Maintenance (TECH) programs had been hosted at Threods facilities.
Threod was one of the many other companies involved in the aviation business in Estonia that students visited. The aim was to introduce scholars to potential employers and offer cooperation possibilities. It is essential to support graduates with knowledge on potential job offers and opportunities. As well as to provide chances to physically see and interact with real businesses. Foremost it is crucial to broaden students’ horizons and help them make one of the most important decisions.
During the visit head of R&D together with two former students from Estonian Aviation Academy (EAA), that are now employed at Threod, made a presentation introducing Threod Systems as an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) manufacturer, latest trends in UAS development and industry. Simultaneously, our former EAA students shared their experience on the practical use of their study programs and real-life implementation of gained knowledge during their studies.
Students also took a tour around Threods production facilities and were introduced to contemporary military and dual-use drone manufacturing techniques.
