On July 25, 2018, a Ukrainian delegation, led by the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Mr. Petro Tsygykal, visited Threod Systems’ facilities. The delegation was accompanied by the representatives from the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board.
The delegation toured Threod Systems’ state of the art UAV production facility and reviewed Threod’s full line of products. Threod further demonstrated its integrated UAV/ground sensor solution with Defendec, another Estonian defense industry company. This integration solution provides situational awareness on the ground along borders and infrastructure with SmartDec Shield infrastructure, while Threod Systems UAVs use the grid reference from SmartDec sensors to pursue intruders after an alarm has been triggered.
