Cata B pneumatic launcher system

The Cata B launcher supports a wide range of UAVs from loitering munitions to target drones weighing up to 400 kg and maximum takeoff speed of 55 m/s. Ideal for larger, long-range UAVs that require a launcher for take-off.

Full deployment, reload, and extraction can be completed in under 3 minutes. The system is designed for simplicity, requiring only two trained operators, with training completed in just one week.

Most setup and operation are performed through the remote control panel, minimizing manual handling on site. Available in wired or wireless form, the control panel manages all core launcher functions – pressurizing the system, positioning the rail, monitoring parameters and executing launches with real-time feedback. Built-in monitoring continuously tracks system status and alerts operators when servicing is required.

The launcher has an average mean time between failures of around 500 launches before major servicing or annual maintenance is required. Actual maintenance needs depend on operating intensity. A built-in monitoring system provides continuous status updates and notifies the operator via remote control whenever servicing is required.

We design customized adapters to integrate the aircraft with the launcher system. The result is a fully customized solution that ensures both performance and reliability.

The launcher is mounted on an off-road trailer with reinforced rims, heavy-duty tyres, shock absorbers and a raised frame for higher load capacity. An adjustable towbar ensures wide vehicle compatibility. The launchers maximum legal road speed is 90 km/h.
